Challenge
A world leader in the medical device business was referred to Asaman. They required a wide range of oncology products to be shipped to an accredited GMP Testing Laboratory, to conduct validation and compatibility testing of their devices. However, some of the products were restricted items, and they were only sold to end users in a closed distribution network.
Solution
Asaman reached out to the companies, and we were initially told that some products are only sold to end-users. So we got resourceful. We made numerous phone calls and finally made contact with the right decision makers. We acted as a liaison between our client, the testing laboratory and the manufacturer. We obtained all the necessary documents to secure the approval to purchase these restricted oncology products. As experts in the procurement business, we did all of the legwork, which allowed our client to concentrate on what they do best - producing lifesaving medical services.
Outcome
We delivered all the products to the site on time, and testing went ahead as planned. Our dedication earned the confidence of a very important client.
